The Answer with Form skill type is designed for customers to equip their AI Agent with the ability to gather information from a user and send it with other data from the conversation to a configurable endpoint.
This feature is particularly well-suited for lead-generation plays and live connections of a user on your website to a sales, service or support representative.
For example, you can use this skill type to configure your AI Agent to:
- Respond to a website visitor request to speak with someone by gathering a phone number and sending it into a Slack channel or to Microsoft Teams
- Promote an email newsletter or webinar, gather an email address and add that to your marketing automation system.
- Incentivize a user of your AI Agent to share their email address by asking if they’d like to receive a summary of their conversation at the end of a conversation.
When invoked, this skill displays an answer together with a field prompt and field for the user to enter information into. It is accompanied by a customizable submit button. After the user presses the submit button, a configurable message is displayed.
Creating an Answer with Form Skill
Need to create a new Answer with Form Skill?
Here's how:
- Navigate to your MOPO AI Agent.
- Refer to the Customize Your MOPO AI Agent docs if you don't know how to login to your agent.
- Click on the settings gear and go to the Skills tab.
- Scroll down the page to create a new skill. Refer to the Skills settings page for more details.
- Select an Answer with Form skill.
- Enter the details and when you get to the Integrations section, select your chosen endpoint, such as the Slack Endpoint.
- Lastly, enter the relevant webhook in the provided field and click the Publish button at the bottom right of the page.
