Extend your MOPO AI Agent’s capabilities by adding skills that enable more effective interactions with site visitors. These skills allow your agent to gather information, utilize existing digital assets like web pages, and facilitate interactions such as meeting scheduling, video presentations, surveys, and more.

Skill Types

When creating a skill for your agent, you can choose from different skill types, which serve as templates to configure the skill’s functionality.

Skill Type	Description
Answer with Form Skill	Capture information from visitors, such as emails for leads, newsletter signups, or phone numbers for real-time sales or support calls.
Answer with Embedded HTML Skill	Book meetings, display videos, invoke surveys, and access other functionalities using embed code from various third-party applications.
Answer with URL Link Skill	Direct visitors to a specific web page, such as a landing page.
Answer with Web Page Skill	Integrate a specific web page, such as a landing page that contains a form.

Skill Presentation Options

Customize how your agent presents skills to visitors. You can:

Skill Presentation Method	Description
Promote a skill	This promotes the skill by presenting the user with a button that is always present in the conversation window. When the visitor presses the button, the skill is invoked.
Trigger a skill	This invokes the skill in response to a question a visitor asks your agent about a particular topic.
Deploy a skill after visitor is idle	This deploys a skill after a configurable period of time during which the visitor does not interact with your agent.

Skill Examples

Here are examples of how different skill types can be configured and used by your MOPO AI Agent to interact with site visitors:

1. Answer with Form Skill

This skill type is designed to capture visitor information through forms embedded directly in the conversation. It’s perfect for gathering leads, newsletter signups, or any other data collection needs.

Setting	Description
Name	The name of your skill to be referenced in skill deployments.
Answer	The answer your AI agent will display to a site visitor. Note that you can include HTML in the answer.
Information Prompt	The prompt that will be displayed before the input box a visitor types their information into.
Submit Button Label	The text displayed on the button a visitor presses to send the information they input.
Submission Message	The message displayed after the user presses the button.
Integrations	One or more webhooks to which your agent will send the user’s input and additional information about their conversation with the agent.

2. Answer with Embedded HTML Skill

Use this skill type to integrate rich content directly into the conversation, such as booking forms, video players, or surveys. This skill increases user engagement by embedding third-party tools directly into your agent’s responses.

Setting	Description
Name	The name of your skill to be referenced in skill deployments.
Answer	The answer your AI agent will display to a site visitor. Note that you can include HTML in the answer.
Embedded HTML	The HTML code your agent should use to present this skill to the visitor.

3. Answer with URL Link Skill

This skill type allows your agent to direct visitors to specific web pages. It’s ideal for guiding users to landing pages, product information, or other relevant content.

Setting	Description
Name	The name of your skill to be referenced in skill deployments.
Answer	The answer your MOPO AI Agent will display to a site visitor. NOTE: You can include HTML in the answer.
Button Label	The text on the button that a visitor can click to open the URL target.
URL Target	The URL of the page to open when the visitor clicks on the button.

4. Answer with Web Page Skill

This skill type allows your agent to display specific web pages directly within the conversation. It’s ideal for sharing landing pages, embedded forms, product information, or other relevant content in real-time, providing users with immediate access to the information they need without leaving the agent.
Note: If you're having trouble embedding the form, please ensure that the webpage you’re trying to use allows embedding from the source. Some web pages may have settings that restrict embedding, which could prevent the form from displaying correctly.

Setting	Description
Name	The name of your skill to be referenced when creating a skill.
Answer	The answer your MOPO AI Agent will display to a site visitor. NOTE: You can include HTML in the answer.
Web Page URL	The URL of the webpage to display.
Frame Height	The vertical size, in pixels, of the embedded webpage. NOTE: The optimal Frame Height value will vary based on the content of your webpage.
